Production Intern, US Scripted Series Production Team
Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Amazon Studios Internship Program offers interns hands-on experience working with the studio behind award-winning and ground-breaking programming like Rings of Power, Reacher, Daisy Jones and The Six, Jack Ryan, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.We are seeking a Production Intern to support the US Scripted Series Production Team. This intern will help drive efficiencies and scalability by supporting department coordinators with various internal projects. This is an open-ended position, where you will not only be given assignments, but have the opportunity to identify and resolve gaps independently. At the end of your term, you will present your work to our senior leader, the Head of US Scripted Production.In addition to working closely with the Series Team, interns have the opportunity to participate in guest speaker sessions, networking events, and screenings.Key job responsibilitiesThis position will be heavily focused on operational organization and administrative process. Additional areas of focus and exposure will include: development process, project start-up, on-boarding into Amazon Studio’s systems, budgeting process, best practices, project oversight, and other protocol/workflows which are key to producing scripted content for Amazon Studios.A day in the life- Support the department coordinators with scheduling, data entry, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.- Join various meetings with the opportunity to gain insight into the Scripted Production process.- Other points of focus will be: lifecycle of a show, improving our crew entry process, and gaining insight and exposure to day-to-day problem solving and collaboration within the Scripted team.- Those who may benefit most are self-starters who seek out opportunities to learn, and are proactive in identifying and taking on projects.About the teamThe US Scripted Production team is responsible for Prime Video’s premium shows, known for a high level of production value. We work with some of the most high-profile talent in TV (Nicole Kidman, Donald Glover, Amy Sherman-Palladino). BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Have an expected graduate date between October 2025 - September 2027• Be able to work 40 hours/week and commit to a 12-week internship• Are enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Film and Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, Visual Arts, Communications, Business Management, Journalism, Screenwriting, Graphic Design, Audio Engineering, or majors relating to these fields. ...
