The Office team at Amazon is looking for an entrepreneurial Vendor Manager to own the P&L and relationships with key vendors in the Office category. This role involves utilizing diverse skills and collaborating across major functions like inventory management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, operations, and finance to enhance the performance of vendor partners.As a Vendor Manager, you will be accountable for business results across the vendors and categories. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of the product portfolio including developing vendor relationships, negotiating terms and contracts, expanding product selection, setting prices and inventory forecasts, developing marketing programs, driving sales and margin improvements, and creating a best-in-class customer experiences.The successful candidate will be able to take their skill-set across multiple facets of retail to drive a successful business.
