Finance Manager, AWS Global Services Finance

The position will contribute to driving standardization and team efficiency across the Support Finance org. You will be responsible for coordinating and liaison with the Central FP&A on behalf of the Support Business Unit finance org. You will have ownership to how the organization plans and forecasts annual Revenue, Headcount and budget on a global basis. You will be the finance expert responsible for variance analysis and driving key financial metrics. You will partner across the BU finance teams to drive forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and key financial decisions. You will also define and maintain internal finance controls for transactions and processes. This role will also support ad-hoc analysis and reporting. This is a highly visible role as your outputs are included in month end packages that go to senior leadership and decision makers.The FP&A team is responsible for managing the financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, long range plan, regular forecast process, and for providing analytical support to senior management. You will help establish the pace of the finance team to ensure it delivers actionable insights in a timely manner.Key job responsibilities- Partner with Support BU and GS Finance teams to meet finance objectives.- Drive month end reporting and variance analysis of actual spend versus projection.- Lead ad hoc analysis and month end financial commentary working cross functionally with BU finance, central finance, financial systems (TM1) and accounting teams.- Ensure compliance with finance and accounting controls and systems.- Monitor and enhance existing processes and controls.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience ...
