The Production Operations team is responsible for delivering high quality event productions on all global live sports properties to customers worldwide, across all Prime Video product lines and devices. We also support our productions through process improvements, scalability, and various initiatives. We work on designing solutions (tools and mechanisms) to manage and support productions globally so our team can work more efficiently and continue to scale. This role will be a mix of production, field operations and program management. The Principal Prod Ops Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing various rights properties from the scoping stage (during the pre-bid phase), through the budgeting and operational design, and launch. You will be responsible for modeling the production scopes and administering RFP launches and vendor selection for Production Service Partners (PSP). You will drive how we engage third-party PSPs for production and technical services defining the scope of work, deliverables, service levels, budget, and work with BA/BD/Legal on the contract terms. You will be responsible for managing and scaling operations and assessing cost standards that may impact the budget or production roadmap.
