Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.Project Kuiper is looking for experienced, creative, technically and commercially savvy leaders to drive adoption of Kuiper broadband solutions in the telecommunications segment. This is an exciting opportunity to own definition and execution of solution development with Mobile Network Operators and telecom ecosystem partners. Key job responsibilities• Be the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and service capabilities.• Incubate and launch new solutions to enable customer use cases.• Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the product management and engineering teams to guide the direction of our product offerings and evolution.• Be creative to help solve technical and commercial blockers and develop new product offerings.• Earn trust with customers with transparency and subject matter expertise• Support strategic business development and contribute to pricing and deal negotiation• Focus on complex deals and develop long-term strategic partnerships.• Create and capture best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts)• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the lifeAbout the teamHere at Amazon, we embrace our differences.
