Our team works on fraud and abuse, spanning a wide range of problems like counterfeit products from sellers, account compromises, contact abuse, among others. Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as providing world‐class support and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners. The Special Projects and Investigations (SPI) team within SPS protects Amazon customers and stores by launching investigative projects and detection mechanisms by deep diving key events within the bad actor lifecycle to detect abuse at the earliest point and close the gap for bad actors. Key job responsibilities
- Investigate risk and analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and trends that can be used to identify abuse at scale.
- Deliver results in highly ambiguous and fast-moving environment
- Use high-level judgment to own complex investigations and enforcement decisions driven through data.
- Write deep dive documents summarizing investigations and proposing solutions
- Foster collaboration across different departments to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Support teams in responding to, investigating and managing escalations around different types of abuse.
- Identify gaps and risks in Amazon's current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams.
- Monitor media and global events to develop awareness of trends in ecommerce
About the team
Our team is comprised of practitioners on the cutting edge of fraud, abuse, understanding bad actor ecosystems, and threat intelligence, using analytics and and/or technical skills. We complement specialized industry skills with broad risk experiences gathered through years of experience to deliver results - we wear a lot of hats and take ownership of hard to solve problem areas whenever possible. We speak 10 languages, write code in 3 (mostly self-taught, on the job), and celebrate learning and taking risks. We encourage experimentation and curiosity while supporting each other to constantly learn and grow.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
