Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, to be a part of the Amazon Music Finance team, supporting Wondery. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior business leaders to influence Original content strategy. This position will play a key role in driving short and long-term financial forecasts, developing new analytical frameworks, and refining and improving existing reporting.


Key job responsibilities
* Own, refine, and develop key areas of Wondery’s Original content model
* Prepare financial metrics, financial analysis, and financial reporting
* Present financial summaries and business insights to stakeholders
* Improve and automate financial reporting mechanisms
* Develop business cases to support all major financial decisions
* Develop, maintain and enhance finance controllership via models, reports, and processes
* Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
