As a resident of the AWS GenAI Loft in San Francisco, you will engage AWS and non-AWS communities, drive our efforts in this fast-evolving field, and dig deep into topics such as prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, and how to use generative AI within software solutions and to enhance software development processes. In this role, you will work with the community, partners like Anthropic, Cohere, Langchain, and others to explore solutions, publish content, and speak at events. Key job responsibilitiesAs an AWS Developer Advocate on Generative AI, your role is to champion innovation and inspire developers worldwide. You'll be deeply involved with cutting-edge communities of early adopters who are exploring the possibilities of Generative AI.On any given day, you might be researching a new tools or frameworks, delivering a compelling presentation at a major developer event; hosting events at the AWS GenAI Loft in San Francisco; collaborating directly with a group of AI pioneers; experimenting with novel use cases and pushing the limits of what's possible on AWS; publishing an in-depth blog post, writing innovative code samples or demos, or recording a tutorial video.You'll act as a bridge between these innovative communities and Amazon's engineers. You'll gather insights and feedback from developers on the frontlines, then translate that knowledge to influence roadmaps for our products and services. Your technical depth and community connections will ensure AWS remains the go-to environment for building and deploying generative AI applications.About the teamThe Developer Experience team's mission is to explore the future of development so that we can help developers navigate a path to that future.
