We are seeking an exceptional Principal Technical Program Manager to spearhead our strategic initiatives in defending Amazon's websites and domains against DDoS attacks while driving our advanced bot detection and mitigation efforts.
As the Principal TPM leading Amazon's robot and DDOS mitigation efforts, you'll be at the forefront of combating sophisticated threats using cutting-edge technologies. You'll have the autonomy to shape and drive a critical security program that directly impacts Amazon's global operations and millions of customers. This role will position you as an innovation leader, spearheading the implementation of emerging technologies like ML, AI, and LLMs in cybersecurity. Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive multi-year strategy to combat bot and DDOS attacks across Amazon's retail websites.
- Implement a layered defense approach, coordinating efforts across edge, border, and origin services for traffic tagging, classification, and prioritization.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with AWS and industry partners to stay ahead of emerging threats and implement cutting-edge solutions.
- Spearhead the adoption of emerging technologies such as ML, AI, and LLMs in our security infrastructure.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with cloud security, bot detection and management, account fraud, or consumer identity protection

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
