We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This role sits within Audible’s Global Content Strategy team and is dedicated to unleashing the power of the spoken word through our content. We use both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify strategic opportunities for Audible to provide a differentiated offering that delights our customers. In Global Content Strategy, we develop and help execute the plans needed to make those opportunities around the world a reality by building the long-term vision for the content that Audible develops, produces, acquires, and distributes. We provide the strategic frameworks that Audible deal makers and creatives across the globe need to move fast to make it real. We seek individuals who are passionate about the evolving audio entertainment landscape and want to be part of defining the future. We’re looking for an analytical and creative thinker, with the ability to ask the right questions and develop a point of view that will influence decisions.

ABOUT YOU
- A data-driven strategist who will readily abandon closely held-ideas in favor of stronger evidence — constantly iterating to make our content better
- An exceptional communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple, in writing, and evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision
- A creative thinker who has a sound ability to balance creativity with strong business judgment and analytical skills
- A hands-on multitasker who can quickly change focus and balance the needs of the moment with longer-term goals, with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
- Resilient with a positive attitude. You exhibit integrity and an ability to follow through on commitments and deadlines

As a Director, Global Content Strategy, you will...
- Refine and support the execution of an evolving three-year global content strategy, ensuring alignment with Audible’s business growth aspirations and the delivery of unique value to both customers and creators
- Partner with regional and global content leadership on a variety of key projects that span the content that Audible acquires, develops, produces, and distributes
- Leverage data to build business cases and craft narratives to both assess new opportunities and inform strategic decisions that contribute to Audible’s overall success
- Monitor industry dynamics and provide insights internally as a thought leader at the intersection of content, marketing and technology
- Partner cross-functionally with, finance and product strategy to project the long-term financial implications of business models for Audible
- Engage with legal, content acquisition and finance to review contractual terms and conditions relating to content licensing agreements across multiple content types
- Collaborate with product and tech to evolve Audible’s offerings for creators
- Partner with economics, analytics and finance to develop and analyze content distribution strategies to ensure our customers have the broadest selection of content available across the globe
