The AdPT FP&A Finance team is seeking a curious, analytical and data driven Finance Manager to be a key partner in the sponsored ads and advertising product, tech spaces. The successful candidate will own critical planning components across the international markets advertising space as well as control over initiatives across the ads organization. This individual will be responsible for planning and forecasting including measuring key drivers and health of the business for all of our emerging markets. They will further be responsible for driving change in initiative planning, measurement, and reporting across the ads organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.

Key job responsibilities
- Produce the international market forecast for each planning cycle including a full bottoms up model build
- Compare actuals with forecast each month and prepare detailed commentary and drivers for key stakeholders and leadership
- Complete ad hoc financial analysis for leadership within the international market space
- Compare results across ads with the sales in retail to identify drivers for variances
- Develop relationships with business and finance leadership across international markets
- Evaluate key initiatives across the ads organization and drive alignment, consistency in measurement and process, and consensus in valuation

A day in the life
On a typical day this position will interact with senior leaders across the emerging markets advertising space for ad hoc finance requests, deep dive into a business metric, and other planning information. This position is critical to gaining alignment across the organization on measurement on initiatives to expand the business as well as driving change in process.

About the team
This team provides Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) support to Ad Product and Tech (AdPT) organization. This includes Sponsored Ads products (SP, SB, SD), the ADSP product (dollars transacting through ADSP) and other AdTech. Our processes include revenue planning and forecasting, performance reporting and deep dives, supporting monthly and quarterly financial reviews (MFR / QFR), goals and headcount planning.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
