The candidates specialized industry knowledge and expertise bridges businesses and technology, and you understand the regulatory and compliance environment that our customer base operates in. The candidate speaks the language of our customers, mapping their business and regulatory needs to AWS services and partner-led solutions. The candidate will work closely with AWS solutions architects, professional services, and security and compliance team members to develop and promote cloud best practices in areas such as LOB use cases, security, resiliency, and regulatory compliance. They will work closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption in FinTech, Banking and Payments.The ideal candidate will possess a business development and specific Banking, Payments and FinTech background and industry experience. The candidate should have demonstrated experience engaging with senior-level executives, and supporting account teams, on solutions sales or services opportunities. The candidate should have an understanding of the Digital Asset, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Blockchain and Web 3.0. landscape; Banking experience supporting change programs, across front, middle, or back office; and experience in Payment rails. They will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and a proven track record of tactical execution leading to the achievement of sales and market development goals.The candidate will leverage deep expertise to understand the most important customer problems in their region and enable account aligned teams in the field to solve them. Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain. Develop and execute goals to drive long term growth in their geography, while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPI’s. Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to ensure we are prioritizing the building of the right features and services for our customers. Delivering monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for their respective tech domain and geography.Key job responsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include driving top line revenue growth and overall end-customer adoption across Banking, Payments, and FinTech in all market segments, from Banks modernizing their legacy front, middle, or back-office systems to Payment providers building rails to Web 3.0/Digital Assets.
