Key job responsibilities
-Understand, educate, and enforce technical standards and specifications with internal and external partners.
-Experience working within Amazon's IT environment, specifically IT topology, networking, device compliance, and troubleshooting.
-Evaluate current working procedures and tools and identify areas to streamline the process to make it more customer friendly.
-Act as subject matter experts for IT and Information Security policies within Amazon, educating our vendor base on guidelines and ensuring compliance.
-Define forward looking strategy for IT components of technology.
-Coordinate and engage with different teams across the network to accomplish projects.
-Conducting standing meetings/calls with internal stakeholders to discuss design & integration requirements and provide status updates.
-Perform yearly reviews of technology to maintain compliance by OEMs.
-Identify and manage project risks.
-Up to 20% Travel, domestic & international.
A day in the life
Responsible for acting as the bridge between ensuring solutions deployed by the GES S&A organization are designed with compliance in mind. That technologies have a path towards compliance prior to deployment. Everyone understands how to ensure their projects are compliant before starting to build. Keep everyone updated on the status of projects, and compliance initiatives. Maintain a close connection with IT, OpsTech & Central, so they are always aware of what's new and changing in the space. Act as SME for escalations for new & existing technology.
About the team
GES S&A Tech integration team is a small team of SMEs who make sure that Sustainability & Automation technologies meet Amazon's high bar for compliance and security. The team balances the need for fast production, with the need for compliance, by coming up with designs that work best for all stakeholders. This group focuses on ensuring compliance is top of mind, and that all internal stakeholders and vendors maintain, and develop with compliance from the start.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
