Within GREF, the newly formed Global Transformation & Insights (GTI) team is responsible for Customer Insights, Business Insights, Creative + UX Design, and Communications. This role is focused on owning data driven insights and converting this data into action-oriented recommendations to inform and support GREF strategic priorities. To scale efforts and drive impact, this role requires technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement. The Senior Business Analyst will be a GREF-org wide SME on data analytics, partnering across Org leaders to identify key KPI’s and leading the design and development of automated data pipelines, sophisticated analytical modeling and intuitive data visualization. This role will have high visibility and impact, consistently presenting findings and recommendations to GREF and Amazon leaders.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and large datasets. They will have strong attention to detail, SQL skills, experience with statistical analysis tools, and the ability to clearly communicate and present data insights.


Key job responsibilities
• Work backwards from customer questions to identify relevant operational, financial, and customer metrics and leverage advanced analytics to draw insights and recommendations to drive the workplace experience forward
• Support overall GREF rhythm of the business by designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
• Navigate evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment, bringing structure and insight to prioritization.
• Provide data management processes such as accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA code, organizing data and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for business performance.
• Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.
• Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of business analysis experience, including extensive Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- • Highly proficient with SQL
- • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile to Waterfall).
- • Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
- • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- • Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
