Amazon is seeking a creative Editor to ideate, assign, edit, and produce content targeted to internal corporate employees worldwide. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to reframe and optimize Amazon news stories for an internal audience, primarily focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Devices and Services, Gen AI, and related areas. This is a new role on the Internal Corporate Communications team within Global Communications and Community Impact. The ideal candidate is an experienced journalist or storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills and strong editorial judgment. Previous experience writing content targeted to internal employees on technical topics is highly preferred. This person will manage multiple stories and company news items across multiple teams. They should be able to shape editorial content and strategy using a mix of audience data and innate story judgment. This person should be a pro at shaping stories with a compelling voice and angle and should feel comfortable collaborating with writers across the organization to reframe stories.
