The Relay Financial Systems and Risk Management organization in Middle Mile Transportation Technology (MMPT) is constantly innovating new ways of building distributed systems running the latest in machine learning algorithms to deliver the next generation of fraud prevention solutions for our Customers. In this role, you will partner with Product and Tech leaders in development of sophisticated risk models to predict and monitor high-risk areas, ensuring proactive and responsive risk management, collaborate with the team to continuously improve metrics calculations, tools, methodologies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other essential components, driving excellence in all aspects of our operations.

Key job responsibilities
• Assist Amazon transportation stakeholders (e.g., risk partners and business leaders) with identifying and managing potential risks (e.g., regulatory, operational, or reputational) in their core processes that if left untreated could impact strategic objectives.
• Apply risk management framework to Amazon transportation programs and influence the product landscape for audit and controls.
• Identify and address gaps in risk coverage through meticulous data analysis and awareness of emerging risks.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve metrics calculations, tools, methodologies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other essential components, driving excellence in all aspects of our operations.
· Lead and support teams in responding to, investigating, managing and resolving high-impact incidents and escalations.
· Analyze existing policy and process gaps, and develop solutions to close them.
· Own and/or manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency. This will include accessing and analyzing data and working extensively with external teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- 2+ years of experience developing, validating, and improving risk models related to transactional or transportation risks, preferably in a logistics, e-commerce, or financial services environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience working with threat intelligence platforms and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate actionable intelligence related to emerging threats. Experience should include integrating threat intelligence into risk assessment processes and developing proactive risk mitigation strategies based on current threat landscapes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
