AFT Quality is looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager who will shape the vision and strategy of our products. AFT infrastructure powers our most fundamental operations and fulfillment capabilities. We support a network that must scale to more business models, product skus, robotic solutions, associate populations, environments, and sheer transactions than any other in the world. Sometimes things go wrong. That's where AFT Quality comes in. We build technologies that combine software, sensor hardware, machine learning, computer vision, optimization, and distributed system architecture to provide automated self-healing of our inventory records, reduce or prevent damage, and protect customers from poor experiences. Key job responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities include:
· Setting a holistic vision for our products and technologies in development -- or haven't been invented yet. Your challenge is to envision our Quality strategy - from sensor instrumentation, to foundational capabilities, to vertical applications.
· Managing relationships and reporting with leadership across AFT and our customers / stakeholders
· Driving strategy and planning for expansion and year-over-year investments across initiatives.
· Developing strong internal relationships with key internal stakeholders and drive cross-team and cross-org alignment.
· Establishing priorities across multiple workstreams and initiatives.
· Finding creative ways to unblock challenges that arise and deciding when to escalate.
· Working closely with Product Managers, Software Development, Operations, Science, and external tech teams to ensure investments and develop deliver on strategic goals.
· Reporting (monthly and quarterly business reviews, yearly strategy documents).

Quality
AFT’s Quality team drives automation programs that leverage computer vision, machine learning, and other innovative technologies to prevent, detect, and correct potential inventory issues impacting fulfillment efficiency and customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
