This role will partner closely with a broad range of Finance and business leaders in Operations, Engineering, and Technology. This role will be involved in Site Selection Analysis and Real Estate Capital Appropriation Requests that involve DCF financial modeling and advanced financial skills.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop financial analysis, including Net Present Value (NPV) models, to assess viability of real estate investment projects, network expansion, and strategic acquisitions within the Customer Fulfillment Network.
- Partner with Global Realty, Construction, Engineering and Capital Planning teams to obtain model input variables. Identify inconsistent or inaccurate data and escalate discrepancies.
- Financially value concepts from incremental design improvements to fully-fledged future generation Fulfillment Centers as part of the change management process by partnering with Building and Engineering Design teams.
- Provide narrative for capital approvals with thorough financial analysis of cost savings for construction projections and communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner.
- Improve tools and processes, scale existing solutions, and create new solutions based on stakeholder needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
