WWR&R includes business, product, program, data, and software engineering teams, who together manage the lifecycle of returned and damaged products.
In this role, you will modify how amazon has been dealing with customer returns and create a faster, cheaper and more agile process for processing customer returns. You will work closely with product managers, program managers, software developers, vendor managers and internal and third party operations stakeholders to create a solution for sending customer returns directly to their final destination bypassing return centers. You will have an end to end visibility on the return supply chain and an opportunity to innovate on behalf of our customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Own setting up strategy for onboarding retail partners and configuring returns injections in the direct to disposition program
- Leverage a total recovery optimized logic at return creation for routing returns to their final end disposition
- Optimize sortation operations for direct to disposition program and become an expert in evaluation and sidelining tools
- Lead creation of Removals and Accounting workflows for direct to disposition inventory
- Work with our internal and external partners to facilitate SOP/contract adherence and smooth removals
- Lead sortation Topology/Capacity Planning and forecast generation for expanding direct to disposition network
- Report P&L impact of direct to disposition initiative
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
