Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As part of Kuiper's Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global fulfillment capabilities. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize inventory management, global network architecture, system integration, and operational planning. Your expertise in advanced supply chain technologies, combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach, will drive efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and elevate the overall fulfillment experience for Kuiper’s global customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with global fulfillment partners to develop launch strategies and optimize network designs that align with Kuiper's unique business goals and regional demands in each country.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to harmonize global manufacturing, inventory placement, and fulfillment strategies, ensuring seamless operations and process alignment across various business models.
- Define and deliver comprehensive technical system requirements, leveraging existing demand forecasting and supply chain to streamline and automate key workflows.
- Partner with regional business, operations, and finance teams to create tailored warehousing and distribution strategies, while enhancing inventory planning accuracy and forecast precision.

A day in the life
As an IFT employee at Kuiper, your day involves collaborating with Engineering teams to prioritize critical work, ensuring alignment with launch deadlines. You'll engage with customers and regional leaders across continents to define requirements, balancing global fulfillment needs with regional nuances. Coordinating with external technical teams is key, as you develop and execute a comprehensive plan to meet technical deliverables on time. Your role is a blend of technical oversight and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that each aspect of the global fulfillment strategy is ready for launch and optimized for success.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years in supply chain, product/program management, marketing, business development, or technology, with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
- 7+ years combining supply chain, product, and program management, driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven ability in building product roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end product delivery, and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Proven cross-functional communication skills to leverage tech and non-tech requirements to support business needs.
- Experience managing large scale, successful projects
- Experience in both US and global operations
- Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
- Great analytic and communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
