We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team and focus on project-based initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency and service delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to make a significant impact on Amazon's corporate IT Logistics.
You’ll join a diverse team of IT Support associates and engineers, supply chain specialists, program managers, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across IT Services to help us deliver the highest standards for IT Logistics, ensuring that our customers have the equipment they need to perform their jobs. Key job responsibilities
• Lead and execute complex IT projects related to imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of end-user equipment
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve operational efficiency and service quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT issues
• Provide escalation support for challenging technical problems and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new IT processes and systems
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for hardware and software upgrades
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical IT infrastructure and services
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, proposing innovative solutions to enhance IT operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of technical support experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of IT systems or relevant commercial production environment experience
- Experience leading small to medium-sized IT projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for process improvement
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and ITIL practices
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on end-user computing and project work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $122,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
