As a Business Analyst in the Account Integrity group, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting large data sets in partnership with product managers, scientists, and engineers to ensure the team is prioritizing the right goals and opportunities to stop bad actors and protect customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and improve data sets, pipelines and reporting to track and manage important KPIs and goals in the Account Integrity space
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data visualization and data-mining to design alarming system, derive actionable insights and guide product strategy for stakeholders and leadership
- Develop internal reporting/visualization tools for self-serve
- Provide analytical support for new feature launches
- Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to drive decision making
Key job responsibilities
- Deep diving business trends, analyzing anomalies and guiding business decision-making through data
- Building dashboard/scalable metric tracking mechanisms
- Working closely with Business and Operations teams to find ways to mitigate bad actor attacks
- Ensuring that the team works backwards from the customer problem using data
About the team
The Account Integrity’s mission is to prevent bad actors from using the Amazon brand or Amazon accounts to harm customers, sellers, and the Amazon business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication, writing and data presentation skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
