The Consumer Customer Service Support (C2S2) team is looking for a talented and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to work across Customer Service and other Amazon teams to improve its content management, training, and program management functions. You will be part of a team of analysts responsible for developing and maintaining the reporting infrastructure for C2S2. This includes measuring the efficacy of training, associate facing content, Amazon’s help pages, and strategic program initiatives. As a BIE, you will support both the C2S2 functional teams and the rest of the analyst team to automate, standardize and scale their most complex data tasks.
A successful candidate will have a passion for data analytics and a deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions. The individual will have experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders, gaining expertise in their data and metrics, and translating their business needs to technical solutions. The individual will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a desire to innovate, fail fast, learn, iterate and improve.
Key job responsibilities
· Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and design reporting and automation solutions that will exceed expectations
· Build detailed understanding of CS processes and how they map to data
· Work with a variety of data sources and large data sets, extract data using efficient query development and provide a holistic and consistent view of the data
· Actively drive automation and scaling of data processes and create self-service tools
· Build knowledge of the latest tools and technologies to help deliver flexible and scalable solutions
· Partner with data engineering teams to adapt data infrastructure to requirements
· Actively manage the timeline and deliverables of projects, anticipate risks and resolve issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
