Key job responsibilities
This person’s responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements, outside counsel management, business training on legal tools, and other tasks needed to support the business and legal teams.
The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a high attention to detail as this position involves direct contact with clients and counterparties.
The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of contracts management experience, including leading contract negotiations and drafting/revising contracts within a law firm or legal department
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts, including intellectual property terms
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
- Ability to invent, simplify, and improve legal and contracting processes
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- In-house experience is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
