As a PR Manager for Project Kuiper, you will define and build the communications strategy for our core product and service portfolio. You will be responsible for generating awareness of Kuiper among end customers; supporting go-to-market (GTM) plans for consumer and enterprise services; and driving customer storytelling across enterprise, mobility and telecommunications segments. You’ll be expected to develop messaging, execute successful campaigns and milestones, build and sustain strong media relationships, and scale programs to reach a global, diverse audience.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with business, product, sales, and marketing teams to drive the overall GTM process. As a key advisor to the business, you must demonstrate excellent judgment, earn trust with various internal stakeholders, and be willing to dive deep into complex topics. You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications, anticipate potential issues and headwinds for the business, find ways to simplify and streamline work, and effectively advocate for decisions that protect the long-term interests of Amazon and its customers.
Along the way, you will have a chance to define the long-term vision for this exciting new business, and to help Project Kuiper deliver on its mission to connect tens of millions of residential, enterprise, and government customers around the world.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end communications for consumer and enterprise product offerings, including announcements, launches, and product reviews
- Drive joint milestones and storytelling with customers and partners across all verticals
- Build awareness of Kuiper among end customers in priority regions
- Demonstrate industry and thought leadership in key verticals
- Manage engagement with key media, analysts, and influencers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with end-to-end product communications (announcements, launches, reviews, etc.)
- Experience with consumer and/or enterprise technology
- Familiarity with telecommunications, space and/or satellite industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
