The Amazon Business 3P (AB3P) Product team manages three global charters focused on enabling sellers to meet Amazon Business (AB) customer needs: Merchant Fulfilled Network Direct Exchange (MFN DEX), Certifications, and Seller Tools. The Principal PM-T for Seller Experience owns the Seller Tools charter and will drive our vision in two key ways: as a Builder and as an Influencer. As a Builder, they will develop seller experiences, working with AB3P and stakeholder teams across owned and central team codebases and seller journeys. As an Influencer and thought leader, the PM will serve as the single-threaded owner of the B2B Seller Experience (SX) vision, influencing multiple VP-level roadmaps to deliver results. They will leverage mechanisms such as one-on-one meetings with leaders, shared goals, and Business Review (XBR) processes.
The role deals with high levels of ambiguity and complexity. The complexity stems from required expertise across several domains (growth, pricing, selection, analytics, seller experience, planned spend), a thorough understanding of stakeholder teams' business goals, charters, and roadmaps, and a keen eye for User Experience (UX). The role's ambiguity arises from the need to establish a vision and three-year plan for B2B Seller Experience and gain buy-in from both AB and Consumer Leadership Teams (LT). To achieve this, the leader will guide a distributed, cross-functional team in defining the ideal experience and collaborate with Principal Engineers to identify architectural gaps that need addressing.
