Our team is responsible for building the Prime Video Sports experiences across all clients that Prime Video supports (living room devices, mobile, web). We are coders and crafts people who care as much about how things look and feel as to the way they function and perform. Our team focuses on customer-facing, high-visibility, high-impact projects to improve the customer experience for live events. PV Live Events provides the opportunity to design and build new full stack features end-to-end. Our technology focuses on real time event based native AWS services and emerging front end platforms including 3PLR, Mobile, PVDE and Web.

Key job responsibilities
Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test cutting edge applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers, they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with Scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help. QAEs would be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, coming up with the test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level tests, test execution and reporting. Stay up-to-date with technologies, and best practices in QA and apply this knowledge to continuously improve testing processes. Collaborate with QAEs and SDEs to implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
