As a Sr. Product Manager, Technical (PMT) on the Seller Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical strategy and execution for products that empower Amazon's third-party Sellers to grow their businesses successfully. You will own seller-facing analytics and recommendations products and will be responsible for defining the vision and measuring the success of these experiences.
You are an expert in technical Product Management and have the ability to develop technical products of the highest quality. You will work closely with engineering and science teams, designers and cross-functional partners to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the Seller experience, streamline operations, and drive business growth. We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
1. Extensive experience in technical product management, including the ability to define and execute a clear technical strategy for complex products and systems.
2. Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software engineering principles, system architecture, data analytics, and product development methodologies.
3. Strategic thinking and vision with an ability to define and communicate a compelling technical product vision, align stakeholders, and drive execution towards measurable business goals.
4. Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on understanding the needs and pain points of Amazon's third-party Sellers.
5. Data-driven decision-making with proficiency in leveraging data and analytics.
6. Cross-functional collaboration with excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Domain knowledge and familiarity with e-commerce, marketplace dynamics, and the unique challenges faced by third-party Sellers preferred.
About the team
The Seller Growth and Development (SG&D) team helps Selling Partners (SPs) WW grow their businesses through: 1) generating and vending Data and Analytics, including providing timely business input and output data to enable their daily operations, and creating analysis and insights to enable their success, especially in the critical areas of new product introduction, customer engagement and loyalty, and profit optimization, and 2) delivering relevant, actionable, consistent, and trusted Recommendations across SP interfaces (e.g., Seller Central, AM tools, Seller App, API) to help Sellers grow their business and achieve greater success in our WW stores. Our Data and Analytics products include Business Reports (BR), Amazon Brand Analytics (ABA), Product Opportunity Explorer (OX) and Amazon Retail Analytics (ARA). Our Recommendations products include Manage Your Growth (MYG) and Explorer Selling Programs (ESP). We rely on Growth Consulting (GC) and UX Research to elevate the voice of the Seller and influence the prioritization of resources to ensure the delivery of the highest value features and tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with technologies like Hadoop, Rules based systems and Machine learning
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
