Amazon Devices—the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo, Fire TV, Kindle E-Reader, Fire Tablet, Ring and Blink product lines—is seeking a high-performing, innovative, experiences, results-oriented and customer-obsessed, Senior Product Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will help gift-givers and bargain hunters find the Amazon Devices they're looking for, develop experiments to determine our promotional strategy and experiences, and lead the biggest events we have, such as Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and more for customers.

You will leverage excellent cross-functional project management skills, a detailed eye for data to develop, launch, test, and report on market-leading awareness, education, and conversion-oriented programs touching all areas of the business.
You will be comfortable in a variety of settings, from presenting marketing plans to leadership as well as executing against those plans. The ability to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment—while keeping stakeholders updated on your progress—is critical to success in this position.

The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically, look at the business analytically, and implement flawlessly. They will have deep experience in consumer product marketing, merchandising and testing, demonstrated ability to drive website optimization and conversion in both mobile and online channels, and a passion for diving into data to uncover actionable insights. They will be equally comfortable generating innovative ideas for growth as well as ensuring tactical level details are executed. The ideal candidate will collaborate and inspire a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture, creating a measurable impact across Amazon and the wider industry landscape.

The position is based in Seattle, covering the North America region.

Key job responsibilities
- Author and present documents to leadership on overarching marketing strategy inclusive of multiple traffic channels for the biggest promotional events for Amazon Devices sales
- Collaborate with multiple cross-company stakeholders/partners to align goals and partner on high sales velocity events
- Deliver comprehensive project management plans across multiple-stakeholders and identify the critical path for flawless execution to deliver goals
- Dive deep in the metrics and analyze lessons learned from events to form hypotheses for further evaluation and process improvement opportunities
- Devise tests and analyze results to optimize future events and improve customer shopping experiences
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load.
- Create buy-in for customer experiences and goals both internally and across key partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

About the team
This team is one of the fastest growing marketing teams in Amazon Devices and is chartered to launch products and improve the customer experience while increasing Amazon Device sales and engagement. We refuse to accept constraints, internal or external, and have strong bias for action and ownership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
