Key job responsibilities- Establish and develop the new Supplier Performance Management team.- Create strategies to effectively execute the responsibilities of the team, including management of product quality, supply risk, delivery performance, supplier data management, and supplier compliance.- Develop tools and mechanism to collect, measure, and report out on supplier metrics. - Further develop the current supplier scorecard mechanism to provide objective feedback to critical suppliers on strengths and improvement opportunities.- Engage with other leaders to improve Supply Chain processes related to supplier performance issues.- Engage with Suppliers in a hands-on approach to support every day, operational requirements related to delivery performance, quality issues, and compliance gaps.- Manage day to day escalations and prioritization of at-risk product orders. - Keep abreast of changing business requirements and market conditions that could impact supplier performance.- Perform spend analysis based on a variety of relevant information, prepare financial models, identify opportunities, and present business case and recommendations to internal business partners.- Support the strategic goals of the business partners; act as a ‘consultant’ to help achieve those objectives.
